Casa Il Campo (Carrubo)

High on the impressive coast between Positano and Praiano stands out this old farm called “Il Campo House”. Amazing is the view which one enjoys from up here. The view wander freely from the Faraglioni of Capri Island along the steep rocks of the coastline over the small Li Galli isles to reach Positano, Praiano and Amalfi and the whole Salerno gulf till the very top of Cilento coast.

In the heavenly peace of the mountains only the sound of the wild nature surrounds the guest. At summer nights the shrilly chirps of the cicadas accompany like a song the enchanting twinkling of countless stars and fish – boats hanging on to the sea.

The first floor of this ancient farm was very recently restored into two nice and comfortable holiday flats:
 Il Carrubo (2 rooms; 3+2 pax) and Il Fico (1 room; 3 pax) both with own kithchenette , bathroom and independent entrance. The two flats can communicate upon request.

From each of the big rooms with typical Mediterranean arched roofs one can enjoy a delightful view over the sea.

The grand floor with its old stables and kitchens is in its inside still in its earliest conditions.

The car can be parked on the main road or in a private garage 200 m. faraway from the steps beginning to the house.

A flight of about 350 steps leads to the building from the main road while a nice beach with two restaurants and bars can be reached from the road stepping down to the sea across other 300 steps.

“Laurito” beach is one of the four main beaches in Positano and it is for sure one the more beautiful and less crowded. For the guests of the restaurants there is a boat-service to Positano where a bus leaves every half an hour arriving to “Il Campo” bus stop just at the beginning of the stairs to the house.
