And yet, most sites face a variety of threats, particularly in today's environment. The preservation of this common heritage concerns us all.
The Archaeological Areas of Pompei, Herculaneum and Torre Annunziata; the Historic Centre of Naples; the Costiera Amalfitana and the Royal Palace at Caserta with the Park, the Aqueduct of Vanvitelli, and the San Leucio Complex are protected by UNESCO.
